Trenching and Roding is the preferred method if your house has termites. This method of treating and controlling termites focus on creating a protective barrier that will infect all termites that pass through it. The method gets its name from making a trench around the house about 6 inches deep and then roding termiticide into the trench. On the areas with contract touching the house like driveways and porches it is necessary to drill holes no more than 12 inches apart, inject the termiticide into the holes and then fill the holes in again. This method is usually not the method of choice unless you have termites in your home currently.
